Dreamscape Cebu threw its annual Summer Party event at the Cebu White Sands Beach Hotel on Saturday, May 13. The event was called Summerversary, in honour of the company’s four-year anniversary in the Philippines.

Summerversary: Twice the fun

On May 7, Dreamscape Networks celebrated four years in the Philippines. The company marked the landmark occasion with a full-blown beach party, a double celebration with the office annual Summer Party.

Most of all, the occasion was marked with the Dreamscape family’s trademark fun spirit. The different teams participated in water sports and team building activities, competing for top prizes. A raffle draw was done to give out prizes to a lucky few. Attendees feasted on a sumptuous buffet, washed down with cool drinks to beat the summer heat.

The pioneer employees of Dreamscape Philippines, 15 people who started on May 13 four years ago, were presented with gift vouchers to recognise their loyalty and tenure.

Dancing and singing

Due to the staff’s love of life, dancing and entertainment numbers from Dreamscape employees also helped make up the Summerversary’s program.

Dreamscape’s resident .XYZ dancers once again performed at the party in a much-awaited dance presentation.

Furthermore, the finale of the “The Voice” of Dreamscape, an office singing competition, was also held during the day. Contestants sang their hearts out, demonstrating the talent and dedication of Dreamscape employees. In the end, Jaycee F., Team Lead from Customer Care, was chosen as the grand winner and crowd favourite.

A fitting end

The Summer Party was completed with Fire Dancers and a Foam Party. CEO Mark Evans gave another of his inspirational and motivational speeches, updating employees on the future and what they can most look forward to.

Most noteworthy, a highlight of the event was the Mother’s Day roses given out to surprise all Dreamscape Mums on their special day.

All in all, the day was a roaring success, with lots of fun and memories that bond Dreamscape Cebu staff as one big family.
